A Stress-Free Claims Process

Why More People Choose to Work with Hanson’s

Honesty and integrity are the cornerstones of Hanson’s with “out-the-door” pricing as quoted so you always know what you will pay before work begins. There are no hidden costs or surprise fees at the end of the day.

After over 22 years in business, we’re experts at verifying coverage and have filed thousands of insurance claims for our customers. Most people don’t realize it, but you don’t have to use your insurance company’s preferred providers. You get to choose your auto glass company and the experience that goes along with that.

We understand that dealing with insurance can be overwhelming and we will do whatever we can to make this as stress-free as possible. To ensure a seamless experience for our customers, we partner with all insurance carriers and offer a lifetime warranty on repairs.

As superior customer service is our top priority, we’re happy to assist you with filing your insurance claim or we can speak directly with your provider on your behalf. Just pay us the deductible and we’ll handle the rest!

In many cases, insurance companies won’t treat small windshield damage as a claim or may simply require you to pay a deductible. However, to be certain, we suggest you refer to your insurance policy or inquire with your agent to confirm your specific auto glass coverage. Should you wish to pay for the work yourself, outside of insurance, Hanson’s accepts all major forms of payment.

Get Answers to Your Insurance Questions

Comprehensive insurance covers repair or replacement of any glass damage except in the case of collision, which is generally covered by collision insurance.

We have encountered very few cases where customers have shared that their policy rates increased due to a comprehensive claim. However, to be sure, we advise that you speak with your insurance provider before work begins.

Yes! While some insurance companies have preferred providers, customers have the right to choose any auto glass company to perform the work. Insurance companies cannot force a customer to use their preferred providers. We work with all insurance carriers.

We are happy to assist customers with filing an insurance claim or we will speak to insurance providers on their behalf.

Typically, customers will contact their insurance agent to initially file a claim. The company will tell you your deductible amount and can confirm if a rate increase would occur. The deductible amount is paid to us at the time the work is completed. We then send documentation to the insurance company and await payment on the remaining balance.

Some insurance companies offer a “glass only” policy. With newer car windshield replacements and camera recalibration, costs can exceed $1,500! It may be worth adding a “glass only” policy to your existing comprehensive policy.

Customers should check with their leasing company as to whether OEM, OEE, or aftermarket glass is acceptable. Some leasing companies are very particular. Usually, either the leasing company or the insurance agent will know the answer to this question.

Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions.
