Our Warranty Details

Windshield Replacement:

• Hanson's Auto Glass warranties workmanship and air/water leaks for the life of the car. Only rust on the car may limit this warranty.
• If you notice distortions in the glass, please notify us within 30 days. We’ll replace it for free.
• If you experience a “stress” crack (not due to damage) within 3 months, we’ll replace it for free.

So as not to void these warranties, once we replace your windshield, we ask that you:

1. Do not drive car for 2 to 4 hours.
2. Keep side windows open to release air pressure for 2 days.
3. Do not wash vehicle for 2 days.

If you’ve leased or rented a car, please check with them first on replacing a windshield with non-OEM (original equipment manufacturer, e.g., Toyota) before replacing a windshield. Replacing a windshield may require their pre-approval prior to work being done.

Windshield Repair:

Our windshield repair warranty covers any further expansion of the crack(s) for as long as your own the vehicle. If the same repaired damage spreads, we will credit the cost of the repair towards a new windshield. See our Windshield Repair section for more information.

Keep in mind that some lease and auto rental companies may not approve a completed rock chip repair. Best to check with them on how they want to proceed should your windshield need repair.
