How We Perform the Work

Hanson’s has performed thousands of auto glass replacements over our 20+ years in business. Here is what you can expect with a back glass window replacement:

  1. The back glass hardware is removed and the glass is separated from the old seal.
  2. The old urethane is removed from the body of the vehicle, being careful not to scratch the paint or bonding surface.
  3. The surface of the pinch weld is prepared using special cleaners and primers. Then we apply new urethane.
  4. The new back glass is cleaned and carefully set into the body of the vehicle.
  5. All hardware is reinstalled.
  6. Your old glass is recycled free of charge!

In order to get started, please have the following information handy: your vehicle’s year, make, model, and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The VIN is located on your registration, the driver’s side of the bottom of the windshield, or on a sticker on the driver’s side door jam.

We would be happy to provide you with quick, out-the-door pricing (no hidden fees).
